Hello Ghana! I am so happy to be back. I missed all of our missionaries. It was wonderful to go home to see our daughter married for time and all eternity in the temple and see the children, grandchildren, family and friends. We are so grateful for all who made their wedding amazing! These posts cover a couple of weeks and the last few crazy days with "jet lag" in preparation for transfers but we have the most incredible mission and missionaries!

Yesterday we attended our first Ghanaian wedding! It was for one of our Elders!  We were so honored to be a part of such a special time for them.

Our couple missionaries came together on Friday night to say a final farewell to the Clements.  Sister Clements father came to Ghana earlier in the week.  It was such a plesure to meet him and visit with a man of honor and integrity.

Elder and Sister Fitch and Elder and Sister Sorensen joined in the farewell as we listened to the stories of the Clements mission.
Elder and Sister Clements-April 2018
We want to wish Elder and Sister Clements all the best.  We love you and appreciate all you have done in serving our Heavenly Father's children here in the Ghana Cape Coast Mission.

Today our Sunday worship took us to Nyenasi.  We love the people here in our mission. The children spent an hour singing  primary songs that lead them to the Savior.  We are grateful to serve with these beautiful saints.

A fast trip home for a very important event! The wedding of Madison and Garrett was perfect! We are so grateful for all our friends and family that made it possible and came to the reception. We could not have done any of this without our dear family and friends, (who are just all our family with different last names!) We love you all and are eternally grateful to you. It was a wonderful week and it was such a blessing to have our last child sealed for time and all eternity in the temple. I thought I would share just a few fun pictures of the family.

I had never flown this far by myself before and it was nice to be on the Dutch airline of KLM

I stopped for a short visit in Omaha to see our newest grandson of 3 weeks.

Arriving home were my favorite treats!  Everyone was so very kind.

Yes it SNOWED!  I saw every season of the year last week! I almost put on Christmas music!.

This grandson became Ghanaian and would not take his wrist bands off!

More awesome grandchildren!

My dad of almost 93 years spoke to Madi and Garrett the day before the wedding.  It was a realy special time to see him and hear his voice.  He is an example of love and service.

Anybody recognize these awesome friends?  They were so kind to come to the reception.  We love you!

Madi and Garrett were married in the Salt Lake Temple.

More wonderful grandchildren...

So grateful we could all stay at Mom's home and have wonderful food!  Thanks Mom for the memories of family!

Our instruction from Elder Smith and Tovela, the assistants, is so helpful to keep the mission on a path leading to helping our Ghanaian friends join the church.
