We are home! After 29 hours we landed in Idaho Falls. We were so excited to come off the plane and hear our grandchildren cheering. The next morning we got an even bigger shock as we answered the front door of our home and their stood our son and his family who arrived from St. Louis. All together again! What a feeling of pure joy! We have had quite a week getting all the computer stuff, wifi, phones and all that put together but now the last week of our mission can be added. It was crazy with transfers, moving, training and all that goes into leaving a life you have lived for 3 + years! We have grown to love Africa, its people, the Ghana Cape Coast Mission and especially our missionaries. It will forever be in our hearts. Our homecoming will be done on zoom on the 30th. We will send a link when we know. Love you all!

We held a small meeting with all the missionaries right before they left to their new area's and I presented President with his scarf.  A mission tradition!

WE LOVE YOU GHANA CAPE COAST MISSION AND MISSIONARIES!  AUGUST 12, 2020

We love the Ghana Cape Coast Mission. We received a call yesterday that there has been a change of assignment for the Cape Coast Mission due to the Virus and the Boarders of countries. President and Sister Young have been reassigned to the Accra Mission when the boarder opens and President and Sister Morrison will be the new Ghana Cape Coast Mission Leaders. We will begin our flight home to Idaho on Thursday of this week. We are grateful for the opportunity we have had, twice, this week to do the 12 hour trip from Cape Coast to Praso, Tarkwa, Axim, Takoradi and back to Cape Coast to help get the supplies to all the branches so they can begin to meet for church. Two of the branches met today and we were able to attend church in Brenu-Akyirim! A miracle and answer to our prayers! We would also like to extend our love to our dear Sister Lehmann. Many of you will remember Elder and Sister Lehmann. Elder Lehmann passed away last Monday. He lived a year after they left Ghana. A mighty man! We will post pictures when we arrive home. We are so grateful to the Lord for the opportunity to serve in the best mission in the world. Thank you to so many for all your love and support. We love you!
